"My new Samsung BD-P1600 Blu-ray Player is really nice looking and goes exceptionally well with my Samsung LCD HD TV. The video quality of the BD-P1600 is superb as it should be although the audio suffered from some sync issues on Blu Ray and DVD to start with but I upgraded the BD-P1600 firmware with wired connection and this solved the problem.

The YouTube navigation feature of the Samsung BD-P1600 is pretty good if you like that sort of thing. Good remote especially if you have a Samsung TV but also provides codes for most other brands which is quite good. Recommended"

"The Samsung BD-P1600 Blu-ray Player plays Blu Ray, DVD and DIVX straight from the box with absolutely no problems whatsoever with great HD quality images. With the latest firmare version the Samsung BD-P1600 will play YouTube videos when connected to the internet. My only critism is a minor one and is really a critism of the company pricing and not the player, the WiFi dongle is around £45 which is an expensive price for a WiFi dongle! I decided on a wired connection for now until the Samsung dongle reaches a price comparable to other USB WiFi devices.

In short, the P1600 is a superb multi format Blu-ray player and for around £140 you'll have a difficult job finding any other Blu Ray player with as many fantastic features"

"Paired with my Samsung LCD TV the Samsung BD-P1600 works great because you can use only one remote. The image on blu-ray discs is excellent and the upscaling of standard DVDs format movies is exceptional. It is a bit loud when loading discs but that's not much of a concern.

There aren't many inputs and outputs but enough for most people. The only downside I can think of is that it doesn't play WMAs, I wish it could be fixed by firmware update of some sort. Other than that the Samsung BD-P1600 Blu-ray Player is a great choice, especially if you have a Samsung LCD TV"
